Mufti Safuan Ahmad completed Ḥifẓ al-Qurʾān (memorization of the Quran) at Darul Uloom New York in 2009. He then completed the rigorous 7-year ʿĀlimiyyah program at the same institution in 2016. In addition to these accomplishments, he earned ijāzah in Qirāʾāt Sabʿah , certifying his expertise in the seven canonical recitations of the Quran. To further his knowledge, he pursued advanced studies in Ḥadith transmission and Islamic jurisprudence at Markaz al-Daʿwah al-Islāmiyyah in Dhaka, Bangladesh, completing his specialization in 2021.

He served as an instructor at Rihlat al-ʿIlm Foundation from 2021 to early 2024 and is currently teaching at Al-Ḥikmah Institute.
